Developed an excel calculator (utilizing Advanced VBA and logic) which implements the Hazen Williams equation to calculate friction losses in pipeline. The calculator requires the user to define the system (Pipe Friction Factor, Pipe Size, DR Ratio, distances, lifts, Valve throttling, etc) to build a system curve.

The system curve is then superimposed onto pump curves to determine optimal pump sizing, operation duty point, valve throttling and efficiency.

The software also has advanced features such as calculating NHSPr, building pump curves for pumps in series and in parallel. 

This calculator was used extensively by my company and Global Pumps to size pumps for temporary and permanent installations.
